Museum and mishaps

All the kids playing on the tea cup. Below is Kara inside a bubble. Kendra loved the fruit in the play house.

Tracy glad to finally be at the museum!

Wow, what a day! We had big plans to meet some of Tanner's friends at the Discovery Museum in Rockford, IL today at 10:00am. We even left on time, the problem came when we missed our exit and the next exit was 20 miles down the road...which was frusturating when you are going the wrong direction. When we could finally get off the interstate we did and we took a smaller highway that we thought would take us where we needed, and it eventually did. It took us two hours to get there, when usually it only takes one. The hardest part was that we didn't have a map of Rockford, so we just drove around (luckily Tracy had been to that location before) until we found it.

The kids loved the museum and we got a year pass so we can go back again. We met up with Magnus and Val and their Mom's and the kids all had a great time. We were getting hungry so we got all the kids ready to go home, got out to the car and Tracy realized that the keys were locked in the car, so she called Triple A and we went back inside the museum to wait. About a half hour later they came to unlock the car and we were off. We stopped by Mc Donalds for lunch and the kids played. We made it home around 4pm, so one day of spring break down.
