Jaxson's First Hickey

Can you see the little red spot on Jaxson's forehead? One of our kids was aggressively kissing him last night using suction force.

Christmas

We had some friends over for Christmas Eve and had a fun time acting out the Christmas Story. Everyone had a part and made their costumes out of newspaper! Later that night the kids got to open one present (their pj's) before going to bed, luckily they fell asleep quickly. Tanner was up around 2am excited to open gifts and was finally able to fall back to sleep before his sisters woke up around 7am.

Halloween

We had a Halloween Carnival at the church. Barry got to be wrapped up like a mummy by the primary kids. Barry's parents were in town so his mom came along to join in the fun!

Pumpkin Carving

The kids had a good time carving pumpkins this year. Tanner decided that Kara should have the biggest pumpkin because she is the one that enjoys cleaning them out the most.

Door County

We decided to take a little trip up to Door County, WI for a few days before school started. Door County is the peninsula in WI, that sticks out into Lake Michigan. We had a good time there and everyone's favorite part was the lighthouses. We got to walk up the spiral staircase to the top to look at the view. Kendra was sad that she was too short to go to the top, but she was happy that she got to choose something from the suvineer shop (she chose a bag of rocks, just like Tanner and Kara). We also had fun in the cold water of Lake Michigan and on the sandy beach there.

On our way up to Door County we stopped in Green Bay and went to Lambeau Field (Home of the Packers for all of you not from WI).

Happy Birthday Kendra!

Kendra was invited to lunch at her adopted grandparents home. Their grand kids were there visiting so it was a party. It was funny to watch her without Tanner and Kara there. She was very shy.

Kendra loved these dolls, she played with them all day!
Kendra wanted a Caillou birthday cake, she really loves that annoying show.

Kara's Fashion Statement

Lately the kids have been getting ready for school so well. They have been getting up and making their beds and getting dressed complete with their snow pants, coat and boots all before I make it downstairs.
This particular day I was so proud of Kara for moving so fast and being all the way ready with her snow gear on. I went to the school after lunch to help out in Tanner's classroom and saw Kara standing there in the hall. I couldn't believe what she was wearing! She had Kendra's pants on, they look like carpi's, but hello, it is still winter here. I asked her if she couldn't find her own pants and she said that she just wanted to wear Kendra's. I now know that I should check them from head to toe before they leave...you never know what's under all the snow gear.

Catching Up with Lots of Pictures

This is Kendra playing "Play dough ball" a really exciting game Barry made up all you need is playdough and some dice let Barry know if you want to know the rules, he has a talent for making up games.
Kendra has been going to a gymnastics open gym once a week and loves it. The rope swing is her favorite.
Tanner had to make a cake for The Boy Scouts 100 year Birthday. This is what we came up with.
Here is Kara trying out the badge making machine with Barry's new supplies.
He got supplies for his Badge-o-matic so he can make 100 pins. He was actually excited about this gift.
Happy Birthday Barry!
Kara celebrated 100 day at school and I got to go help at their 100 day party!
This was Valentines Day
Tanner had a good season of Basketball and was sad that it had to end.

This is us participating in a photo scavengerhunt. It was our Packers Gear picture.
