Turkey Day
Barry and Larry decided to Brine the Turkey this year.
We didn't have a baster, but the medicine dropper worked just as well.

Basketball Season
Tanner played in his second game today. He did really well and even scored a basket, although I didn't get it on film. His team only has 7 players on it, so he gets lots of playing time. It has been a lot more fun to watch this season, and Tanner has improved a ton from last season. Maybe next week I'll catch him scoring.
Disco Bowling
Tanner was invited to a birthday party at the bowling alley. Everyone from Tan's class was invited to the party and it was crazy at the bowling alley so we stayed and went bowling too. It was fun to watch Tanner with all of his friends. Tan's favorite part of the party was, "when Devon lent us a quarter 'cause we got to play a car video game in the arcade."
Here is Della, Tanner, Sullivan, and Josh waiting to get their face painted.

I Looked Out The Window And What Did I See?
We looked out our window and saw the first real snow of the season. Kendra was taking her nap while it started snowing. When she woke up she noticed the white stuff all over the grass. We went to pick up Tanner from school and we were pointing and saying "snow." She then started pointing and saying "snow" without the 's' sound. When we got home I let her play for a while, but she just walked around. She didn't want to touch it or try to eat it, but she wasn't ready to come inside either. She just wasn't sure what to think of all the white stuff.

Until Next Time
I think we made it through the worst of it. Barry was feeling better this morning and was able to eat breakfast before going to work today. Tanner and Kara were both feeling better, but I kept them home from school so they would be close to the bathroom, just in case. Kendra is doing well too. I spent a good part of the day sanitizing my house from all the bodily fluid that landed every where this weekend.

24 Hour Update
Well, Tanner is feeling better. Around 2:00pm this afternoon he got up and was ready to play the Wii and he was able to eat a little. Kendra is doing pretty well and her diaper rash is finally starting to disappear! Barry is not good, luckily I haven't had to clean up after him. Kara is not good. She vomited all over Tanner's room carpet. Good news, no laundry to do (yet). Bad news Tanner's room has an awful stench. We just moved Kara downstairs where there is no carpet (we should have thought of that earlier). I'm a little worried that my turn is next.

Will It Never End?
Kendra got sick again last night. The poor little thing can't get over anything. She was sick the whole week before I went to Utah with a high fever (104 degrees)and cold (having to go to Urgent Care to get 2 shots of antibiotic three days in a row), then she was pretty good the five days I was in Utah. When I got home she got sick again, this time with a bad cold, which for Kendra means she has a hard time breathing. Barry ended up taking her to the ER last Saturday night because she was having such a difficult time breathing, even after breathing treatments. She had croup and they ended up giving her a shot of steroids and that helped her. On Monday Barry took her to the doctor who gave her a five day prescription of steroids and now we are trying Singular for her breathing. With all these medications and maybe a bug, she now has had diarrhea and awful diaper rash from it, so I had to get another prescription for that. It was so bad yesterday, I spent most of the afternoon in the bathroom with her. Last night she spent the night throwing up, but luckily today she seems to be holding things down. Even Tanner and Kara have had bathroom issues the past two days.
I just had to take a break from writing because we heard someone down the hall projectile vomiting. It wasn't Kendra, it was Tanner and he just threw up all over my bed, blankets, sheet, pillow, and wall...yuck! Looks like we have a lot of laundry to do tonight. Barry just got out the air mattress so we can let our bed and room air out tonight.

Halloween
The weather was so nice for Halloween. The kids didn't even need coats. We took them trick or treating around our neighborhood and they ended up with way to much candy. Kendra could barely carry her pumpkin bucket by the end of the night, but she refused help from us. Then we went to Jon and Tiffany's house. Kendy and Kara fell asleep on the way home.
Did you catch the Star Wars theme? Kendra was Princess Leia, Tanner was Commander Cody, and Kara was Queen Amidala

I Have the Best Husband In the World!
Barry had a week off and we were trying to figure out what to do. We discussed going to Omaha and then I said we should drive to Utah to see Kim's baby. Barry said that he had a better idea, that I should buy plane tickets to go see Kim and her baby and be in Utah for my mom's birthday. I thought it was a great idea too! I hurried and bought the tickets before Barry could change his mind and headed for Utah all alone. This is the first time since having children that I have been away by myself. It was so easy to pack and travel all alone.

Karlee was so little and cute! I was so glad that I got to see her and Kim!
I had to post this picture of Kim as a mother. Doesn't she look prepared for anything?
Erin drove in from Omaha to surprise my Mom for her birthday. It was fun to have all of us there together. We spent one of the days at the Park City Outlets and we also went to Cafe Rio for lunch.
Me with Micah and Kate (Lisa's cute kids). I didn't get a picture with Porter and Peyton, maybe next time:(
