Our Weekend
Friday I went on a field trip with Kara to the library. She got her very first library card. Here is the signing of it. She was very excited about this and got to check out a library book with it.
After playing tennis with the kids we did some cleaningon Saturday. Barry went to the store and bought paint and we painted our hutch black.
Tanner and Kara wanted to have a rummage sale. They made signs, got the cash register out, and priced all of their items (very expensive). Tanner was selling a shirt for $6. No one stopped at their sale because it was kind of rainy. They had to move their sale into the garage because of the rain.
There was no smoking at their sale.
Here they are in the garage.

First Grade Science Fair
Tanner and Josh with the help of Steven put together their science fair project. The topic was weather so they decided to learn about tornado's.
Steven found some good experiments for the boys to try and display.
Easter
It was fun to spend Easter morning with the Gurneys. The kids were happy with their baskets and also had an egg hunt later in the morning.
The kids were all happy to get baskets full of candy! Kara ate so much that she finally said that she didn't feel like eating candy, which I have never heard her say ever.

Mahoney State Park
We went to Mahoney State Park where they had a huge indoor play structure (like Leo's in Idaho Falls, but bigger) for kids and adults. I wish they had one of these in Janesville!

Omaha
We had a fun trip to Omaha to visit Erin, Lynn and their boys. We missed seeing my Mom, Kim and Karlee, but maybe next time.
It may look like these two cousins are enjoying their time together, but they are being two year olds. I love the look on Peyton's face, so innocent and sweet. Kendy looks like she is hugging Peyton, but no she's trying to get him out of the corner. They did have a good time most of the time.
Barry and Lynn went to play basketball, but Barry forgot his contacts. Luckily Lynn had a sweet band to hold Barry's glasses on while playing.
You know that Tanner and Porter loved playing computer games together!
We stayed a couple of nights in the Holiday Inn. It had a fun little water park inside. All the kids except Peyton liked the water, he and Lynn opted out. All of them loved the slide, especially Porter who went down about a bazillion times by himself.
Kara hasn't seen the sun in months as you can see in this picture. She kept Kendy busy sliding down the smaller slides and playing in the water.

Here's the crew in the whirl pool. Fun times!

Dog pile on Tanner!
I love this one of the boys warming up eating their lunch in bed and watching cartoons. I would have never permitted this in the bed I was sleeping in....crumbs anyone.
The two little ones sitting in the window.

Dog pile on Tanner!
More to come on our fun trip!
