Kendra is 1!!! She shared her first birthday with Easter, so we had lots of activities for the day. We actually didn't get to her cake until 7:00pm (which is normally bed time).
We went to the dollar store and I let Tanner and Kara chose a present for Kendy. Kara got her a doll and Tanner got her balloons. She loved both. Tanner was playing with Kendy and her doll and the head flew off. Kendy still played with the doll, but kept looking at it

like something was wrong.
Kendra loved us singing "Happy Birthday" to her and joined in. When we gave her a piece of cake she first tried to hold it and didn't like the frosting on her fingers, so she wouldn't touch it after that. She kept doing her sign for more so we broke off small pieces of cake for her. She would eat those, but would not dive into the cake like Tanner and Kara did.

The Kids had a good Easter. Tanner of course woke up at the crack of dawn to find his basket full of candy, which was gone before breakfast. Kara loved the candy and Kendra liked dumping the grass out and shaking the eggs full of jelly beans. They had an Easter Egg hunt down in the basement because it is Still Winter here with snow still on the ground. Barry hung their baskets up high and made the kids shoot their eggs into the baskets. Fun idea until they missed the basket and the eggs hit the ground and jelly beans flew. We had Easter dinner at the Wheelers with Gretchen and her kids(Chad was in Japan), and Amy and her kids (Sam was on call). It was a fun day!
