Hershey

Last Tuesday we found out that Barry had Thursday through Monday off, so we decided spur of the moment that we should go to Pennsylvania to visit Barry's brother Cameron and his family. We called them up to see if they would be home, they were planning on going to Boston, but canceled their plans so we could come and visit them. We didn't realize that it would be a fourteen hour drive at the time, but we didn't know if there would ever be a time when Barry would have that long of a weekend again so we left after Barry got home from work on Wednesday on our trek east. We stayed the night somewhere in Ohio and then drove the next day to Hershey, PA where the whole town was all about Hershey Chocolate right down to the lamp posts that were Hershey kisses. The kids didn't want to make the stop to Hershey World, they wanted to go straight to their cousins house, but when they got there they thought it was fun. There was a ride that showed how their chocolate was made and we got some free samples. Then we went to the chocolate shop where the kids got huge Hershey kisses.
