Spring Break

It was great to have a week off of school!  Barry didn't feel like he could take a lot of time off because he just started, but we still managed to pack in A LOT in just a few days!  The kids and I went to Mountain Home to visit Lisa and her family for a couple of days.  She lives out in the country and has lots of space for the kids to run and play in the nice weather!  Tanner was excited to be able to use his bb-gun.  He was hunting whistle pigs with Seneca.  Seneca would see one in the distance and show Tanner, he would run up on the whistle pig and scare it away before he could even shoot at it!
Barry met us at Lisa's Wednesday night after work and then we went to Utah the next morning, early.
We met Erin and Mom at the Salt Lake Children's Museum at the Gateway.  It was sooo crowded with lots of school groups.  One of the school groups was run by a friend of mine that I knew from California who now lives in Utah.  It was fun to run into her there!  Erin also ran into someone she knew from Cali too, its a small world.  The kids had fun together!

After the Museum we visited Grandma Ballard!  She is such an amazing lady!  She knew all of the little kids names and they all love her!  It was a nice visit!

For Kendra's Birthday, Grandpa made a bed for Kendra's American Girl Doll, Lisa teamed up with him to make the mattress, blanket and pillow!  Kendra keeps that bed on her bed at home so her doll can sleep with her!
The Belcher Family has some property and a cabin right up the road from my parents home.  It is always a good time going up there.  The kids keep busy in the sand, especially because they often find treasure in it.  I'm not sure who stocks the sand with money, but the kids love it.

The four wheeler is also great entertainment!

Dad making dinner!

Once it got dark, we realized that we had forgotten to have an egg hunt, so we had it inside!

It's hard to tell, but I think Tanner was selective on the eggs he found.  He looked for the money eggs, while Porter went for anything.

Kendy decided she didn't love hard boiled eggs!
We followed the egg hunt with "Up, Down, Look"

Clara, Jax and Grandma making breakfast!

The girls got to try on my wedding dress

Easter Morning Tanner was sick with strep throat, so he didn't get dressed up.

We very much enjoy seeing you & your families. Thank you.

By the way, I couldn't help but think of our early days here w/you during this current week of never-ending rain. After four days, were nearing 6 inches of rain & the Rock River is starting to flood again.
