Grand Cayman

Barry, Tanner, Kara and I got up early to go snorkeling with sting rays in Grand Cayman!  Grandma and Grandpa kept an eye on Kendy and Jax on board.
First I had to beat Barry at a game of fuze ball and then celebrate!

We first took a bus to a catamaran where we sailed out to a reef to snorkel.  The ride over was beautiful!  Tan and Kara loved riding in the front of the boat.

Snorkeling was a lot of fun and brought back memories from Dominica, but the sting rays were a little freaky to swim with.  We all at least touched the rays.  One of the guides would swim down and bring the rays up for us to pet and hold.  Barry tried to bring one up to the surface, but said they were pretty strong and difficult to move.  At one point I was on the boat taking pictures and a ray brushed by Kara, she freaked out and grabbed Barry and screamed, luckily Barry had a life vest on to keep him up!  We saw all kinds of tropical fish and Barry saw an eel, it was a really cool experience!
